Your Facilitators:

Liz Tilley – The Coach for Women who Want to Change the World

“Your future self is calling you forward. She knows the way and she’s longing to show you. Let me connect you two.”

I’m an International Coaching Federation Accredited Coach who works with executives and with teams as a facilitator and coach. I run leadership skill development workshops across the public, corporate and not-for-profit sectors around Australia.

I was in the first cohort of coaches trained by the Global Coaching Institute(GCI) in their innovative Process-informed coaching model which brings the most powerful tools of depth psychology to coaching. I have recently returned from coach-mentoring on the GCI coach training course in Tokyo.

I’m also a CINERGY® Conflict Management Coach and coach mentor for CINERGY training courses around Australia. I’ve studied non-verbal communication and presentation skills with world-leading US expert Michael Grinder, and deepened my Processwork skills with US specialist Stephen Schuitevoeder.

Before becoming a coach, I worked in communications for over 25 years, firstly as a television producer then moving into public relations working as a PR Director and consultant in the not-for-profit, corporate and public sectors. I have also been a sessional lecturer at the University of Canberra in public relations and writing.

This retreat is an opportunity to bring the deeper spiritual and soul work I do with private clients together with my corporate work. If we are going to meet the world challenges of the future we need to tap into our fullest potential on a body, mind and spirit level.

My interest in spirituality began in my mid-20s. I trained as a Usui Reiki practitioner in 1993, and in recent times have developed my meditation practice using the techniques of Dr Joe Dispenza.

I am a proud Global Ambassador for the Body Image Movement.

Liz Wensing – Health and Wellness Coach, Women’s Embodiment Mentor, Speaker & Yoga Teacher

“I guide women to embrace their full expression so they can be their wild, sensual and radiant self with confidence and grace.”

I work with open-minded, freedom-seeking, life-conscious, awakening women ready to create change in their life and in the world. My specialty is mentoring and coaching women in the areas of health, fitness, spirituality, feminine embodiment and business.

The genesis of my embodiment work grew from my early training as a dancer in both classical ballet and contemporary dance. My 25 years of dance experience includes performing with QL2 Dance. During my time with QL2 I worked with local and national artists such as Liz Lea and Fiona Malone. It was through my dancing that I discovered my passion for the human body and creative expression.

I bring to my coaching and mentoring over 10 years’ experience in the health and fitness sector including working with people with chronic conditions and/or complex needs, as well as clients wishing to improve general health, well-being and sporting fitness. I’ve also worked in health administration and program development in the corporate sector.

I studied Health Science at University specialising in exercise science, health promotion, psychology and sports coaching and also have a Diploma of Fitness from Canberra Institute of Technology.

My studies in health and wellness sparked an inquiry about how energetics and spirituality influences our health and wellbeing and our ability to thrive in life.  This drew me to India where I lived and studied full-time for six months, completing my yoga and meditation teacher training at the World Peace Yoga School in Rishikesh under renowned teachers Vishnu Panigrahi and Sanjiv Kashyap.

While in India I also broadened my training and knowledge in tantra and sacred sexuality at the International School of Temple Arts. I’ve subsequently trained as a Usui Reiki practitioner under esteemed Melbourne teacher Jackie Richards.

My work in recent years has moved beyond women’s self-sovereignty of body, mind and spirit; to exploring the role of women as leaders in society. It was a great honour to recently be invited to attend a women’s leadership retreat for spiritual leaders from across Australia, which was facilitated by Dr Leoni Degenhardt at The Abbey in Jamberoo in NSW.

My interest in supporting women to come together extends to my role as the Canberra Ambassador for The Self-Love Movement, a global social movement focussed on self-empowerment, well-being and self-acceptance by building connection and community.

Body Image Movement Global Ambassador

I'm proud to be a Global Ambassador for the Body Image Movement, which was established by Taryn Brumfitt, creator of the documentary Embrace

The Body Image Movement believes that everyone has the right to love and embrace their body, regardless of shape, size, ethnicity or ability.

Embrace is an amazing documentary about women and body image and it's my mission to try and get asmany people as possible to see this movie - because it changes lives.

As a volunteer ambassador, I introduce screenings of Embrace and facilitate discussion after the movie.

Please get in contact about hosting a screening at your workplace, sporting club or social group.
